Timothy P. Johnson

Timothy P. Johnson of Boston, died unexpectedly on Dec. 4, 2016 at the age of 42.

Tim was so incredibly full of life. He left a lasting impression and had positive impact on everyone he met. Being a good person, a good friend, a good son, and a good brother were always core to his character, and he was later a wonderful husband and amazing father. He loved his friends and family fiercely, and nothing made him happier than helping them, being there in times need, and bringing people together out of love and Creepo Loco. Tim was also full of wizrdry. No one could transcend social groups, technologies, music, architecture and red tape the way Tim could. Professionally, Tim excelled at Microsoft, Akamai, and the Boston startup scene, and later founded Furnetcha, a furniture and technology company in Boston. There is too much to be said about Tim, and anything written in this small space would be inadequate. Simply put, Tim will be remembered as passionate, optimistic, caring, talented, and above all a truly good person.

Beloved husband of Leslie (Yeh) Johnson. Loving father of Lana and Callum Johnson. Devoted son of Elinor Johnson of Marshfield and the late Kenneth. Loving brother of Erik Johnson and his wife Amy of Norwell.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday at 10 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tim may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or the Human Rights Campaign.
