Lawrence T. “Larry” O’Connor

O’Connor, Lawrence T. “Larry” of Quincy, died May 26, 2016.

Larry was a man of many interests and talents but most importantly a friend to all. A true craftsman, to some known as “Larry the stove guy” due to his vast collection and expertise in restoring vintage stoves, Larry also spent countless hours in “the shop” restoring antiques and creating furniture, boats and many other works of art.  Larry’s passions included sailing, painting, camping and playing music.  He will be remembered by all for his contagious smile, welcoming personality and adventurous spirit.  Larry will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Beloved longtime companion of Diane Wilmot.  Cherished husband of Pat O’Connor.  Caring brother of Paul O’Connor and his wife Katie, Thomas O’Connor and his wife Marlene, Rita Savage and Bill Doyle and Sandra Tedeschi and her husband Paul.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
