MacQueen, Joyce V. of Abington, died March 1, 2015. 

Joyce was born and raised in Weymouth.  In her earlier years she was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps. Joyce worked for the MBTA as an accountant for over 25 years. Her main passion was her family, she was a strong and devoted single mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson. Joyce will be remembered for her great sense of humor who always put a smile on your face.  

Beloved mother of Derrek MacQueen and his wife Jillian of Whitman.  Loving daughter of Joan MacQueen of S. Weymouth and the late Robert.  Devoted Nana of Devin MacQueen of Whitman.  Caring sister of Robert MacQueen Jr. of Scituate, Joan Marie MacDonald of S. Weymouth, Michael MacQueen and his wife Cindy of Abington, Michelle Fitzgerald and her husband Paul of Mendon, Suzanne Soucie and her husband Arnie of Kingston and the late Maureen MacQueen. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
