I recently learned of Joyce's passing and am saddened. I knew Joyce from her years at the MBTA. Joyce was a lovely person, loved her son, had a great sense of humor and always upbeat. She will be missed. With deepest sympathy, Christine Kondis (MBTA)

I'm so sorry to have heard of your moms passing. I knew her in Jr. and High school. She was full of life, love and laughter. You always knew Joyce was near because you could hear her infectious laughter. I was truly blessed to have known her. I'll be praying that the Lord will comfort you and your family at this time. Psalms 46:5-6

My heartfelt condolences go out to Joyce’s family. I will remember Joyce’s smile and energy and unique voice. It’s been over 33 years, but I still recall hearing her in the halls at Weymouth South.

I'm sorry about your mom. She was a great woman who had a golden heart. You put joy in peoples lives every time you seen them. I had the pleasure of being a part of the Emerald Marquis family. When I first met Joyce she had not much use for me because I was the new staff person. We did however become good friends. I eventually got her to join the Lancers. She was a lot of fun to be around and was a great performer and rifle. My condolences to Michelle and her family. RIP Joyce, you will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear that Joyce passed away. I remember the first time I saw Joyce. It was 1982 and I was marching for a colorguard from Medford. Emerald Marquis came on the floor and there was this one girl who stood out more than any other, such presence! A year later, I joined Emerald Marquis and was fortunate to march with Joyce. She was so welcoming, kind, fun and beautiful inside and out! My thoughts and prayers are with Minnow and Joyce's family! Thank you Joyce for the wonderful memories!

I hung around with Joyce so long ago. We went to school together and were neighborhood friends. I always loved her laugh , smile and enjoyed being goofy kids with her. Prayers and sympathy to her big and beautiful family.

I was a classmate of Joyce's at Weymouth South and shared homeroom due to alphabetical assignments. Joyce was always a joy to see, always smiling and friendly and upbeat. She was a friend and I thank her for all that. Rest in Peace Joyce and my condolences to her loved ones.
