Heidi A. Donnelly, age 37, passed away in Boston, on Monday June 1, 2020. She spent her younger life in Woburn, MA and Merrimack, MA before her final residence in New Bedford, MA.
Heidi is survived by her son, Ellis J. Donnelly of West Newfield, ME, her mother, Donna Ellis Donnelly of New Bedford, MA, her father, Robert Donnelly and his wife Kim of West Newfield, ME and her brother, Derek Donnelly of Skowhegan, ME and his children Rabecka, Bryan and Danika. Heidi’s aunts and uncles include: John Ellis and his wife Cathy of Milford, Michael Ellis and his wife Karen of Kingston, Bryan Ellis and his wife Stacey of Plympton, Thomas Ellis of Middleboro, Linda Ellis of East Bridgewater, Patti Visconti and her husband Bill of Woburn, and Wendy Evans and her husband John of Derry, NH. Heidi is also survived by her Nana Marcia Phillips Ellis and stepmother Kathe Scott Donnelly. Heidi also had many cousins and a large extension of family and friends in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire. Heidi was the granddaughter of the late Webster (Papa) Ellis, Anne Marie (Nana Ree) Ellis and Bob (Grampa) and Carole (Nana) Donnelly.
Heidi attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical School and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical Institute. She had also attended courses in pursuit of becoming a hairdresser and cosmetologist. Heidi enjoyed skating, softball, cheerleading, going to the beach and concerts. She formerly volunteered at PACCA (Positive Action Against Chemical Addiction) a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that helps men, women and young people who struggle with addiction and alcoholism.
She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all. All funeral services will be private.
