We offer our sincere condolences to Doc Lincoln's family on his passing. Doc was a legendary football player at Columbia University and a gentleman He was a wonderful friend to Nancy and I and we will miss him, dearly. May he rest in peace.

The Columbia Football family referred to him affectionately as "Doc Lincoln". He was instrumental in helping Coaches Buff Donelli, and John Toner recruit the nucleus of a team that won the Ivy League Football Championship in 1961. He bled Columbia blue, and we loved him for it. Tommy Vasell Columbia College; Class of '62 Quarterback, 1959 thru 1961.

Sorry for your loss Lincoln family. Dr. LIncoln clearly led a long and fruitful life and left a lasting legacy. Although I never met him, from his picture and the twinkle in his eye, I strongly suspect the apple does not fall far from the tree. His son Jack’s (Mark’s) friends at Sager know him as a valuable asset to our company. Even more important though is his willingness to let us lean on him, and no matter how serious or dire our circumstances, point out the funnier side of our plight to help us laugh and feel better.
