Condolences to the Family of Dorothy A. (Daly) Mitchell

2023

Dotty was like my big sister when I was a young one. I'm certain I gave her lots of trouble when she used to sit for us, but she loved me anyway and I certainly loved her! So sweet, loving and kind always. I know my Mom had a special place for Dot in her heart, just as we all do. With much love, Laura - or Laurie as Dot always called me.

Ma, I miss you already! Thank you for teaching me to be a woman of dignity and grace. You are my best friend, always there for me. I know your you at peace now, singing with Frank Sinatra and Uncle Norman. God Bless. Love always, Suzy.

Sue, Tom Jr. and Rob...So sorry for the loss of your Mom and my beautiful Dotty. Never called her Aunt Dottie cause the Daly women were sensitive about the age thing and she was not that much older than me and my siblings. Dot was a sweet beautiful soul who looked out for all us kids when we were young - I'll never forget her. I know she is with my Mom and our grand parents and uncles/aunts. They are Singing by the family piano with her lovely lovely voice. I know it

Dear Susan, Tommy and Bobby, I sure you don't remember me, but I use to babysit you on Calimet St in Quincy and then on Mill St. Your mother was a beautiful person inside and out. So kind and caring to everyone. I lost touch with her, so often I would try to find her. I am so sorry for all of you. You all were the greatest.
