Condolences to the Family of Perry L. Moore

2022

Dear Jean family and friends of Perry, On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Perry's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are always saddened whenever a fellow "Bubblehead" departs on Eternal Patrol. He served with honor on the USS Sea Owl (SS-405). To our "Brother-of-the-Phin" we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. Fair Winds and Following Seas." Thank you for your service to our country. Jean and family... "may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you." 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (ESV). Jim Sandman, FTC(SS) Ret, National Chaplain, USSVI.

Perry is a man who was as humble as he was great. No need was unseen and unattended. As a member of SSYC, I grieved and cried along with my fellow members when told of Perry's passing. We will miss everything Perry. His grumbles and his caring, his knowledge and his subtle way of engaging the right people for the right job. Thank you Jean and Kevin for sharing this remarkable man with us. My sincere condolences for your loss. Sincerely, Carol Johnson
