Condolences to the Family of Stephen Michael Leary

2020

Uncle Steve, It's your favorite niece, Nicole. Just kidding, we all know that was Lauren, since she knows your long and complex Dunkin Donuts order! Anyways, I am mad that you are gone, since we had FIRM PLANS to go to Red Lobster in Connecticut on Saturday. Now I will have to go alone and just blast Nickleback and Kid Rock on the radio on the way. I made the CD for my father that we could listen to and tell silly stories and now I have to go it alone. I am happy we had such a good time at your 60th birthday and at the Rose Kennedy Rose Garden and I love you very much. Second Favorite Niece, Nicole Kearns Berger Saugus

I may have only met him a handful of times but I could always tell how much you and your father loved each other. And the love you show for everyone else only continues that chain of love. My heart goes out to you and your family. And I hope you find all the support you need to mourn.

Stephen... what can I say, except THANK YOU... for being a lifelong friend to me, Mary and her husband Jay, I've never forgotten Thanksgiving a couple years back and you asked me what I did for that day, and I told you that I was home alone, but you said to me, that's unacceptable, you should've called me and my extended family, we would've loved to have you with us, and you made me promise to call you if that ever happens again. It's with great sadness that I'm writing in the guestbook for your funeral service. Obviously God has better plans for you, because that's the only reason I can think of to why he's called you home. You'll be surrounded with so much love up in heaven, I'm going to Miss Your Smile and especially your hearty laughter. When the time is right, I'll see you at your place.

Alaina, sending you so much love. Your dad sounds like an incredibly special person. He has already touched my life by his impact on you who have impacted me and even just the few stories I've seen you share about him. I look forward to learning more about him and hearing more stories of his "mischievous wisdom." Sending you so much love.
