Condolences to the Family of William A. Tansey

2020

Uncle Bill occupies a special place in our hearts. Many Christmases have passed , but the Christmas of 1970 stands out. I was a lonely submarine sailor stationed in Groton CT. . I boarded a train to Boston and the Bill Tansey family warmly welcomed me in celebrating the Holidays. Mary also remembers being welcomed to your family’s home on Cape Cod, in the summer of “73” ,when she was a lonely sailors wife, while I was on patrol.I especially remember discussions with Uncle Bill , when he would cut to the bone using his engineers wit to get his point across. Mary and I extend our deepest condolences and celebrate a life well lived .
