My sympathy to the entire McCarthy family for having lost a valuable member. For the past 12 years I was fortunate to have Jim and Rosemary as wonderful neighbors. Jim will be truly missed.

Denise, I have enjoyed following the life and love of your parents. My heart breaks for the time they could not be together this year, but they had a special 62 years together, that most could not ever dream of knowing that kind of love and commitment. Dear Jim and Maria, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad/Father-in-law. In reading his obituary, I can see that he had a passion for many sports and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. I know your Dad rests in peace knowing how much he was loved by his family and how much he returned that love. I hope that you all know the caring thoughts being sent your way as you cope with his loss. Not easy, ever, to lose a parent, but know that he is resting in peace.
