John, you were a fun and knowledgeable guy to work with for many years from apprentice class to Hub glass. Lots of fun fond memories Peace and love to his family so sorry for our loss.

I have many fond memories of Johnny. Playing hide and seek when the sun was just going down. His favorite place to hide was in a tree... he was one hell of a tree climber! The snowball fights from our forts kitty corner across the street. His ready smile when I would run into him at our daughters soccer matches or some event we would be at. My heart felt condolences to all of you. He will be greatly missed.

To Jill, Lindsay, Jack and all of John’s family I will always remember John with so much love. Reading the statement about him rings so true to me. I first met John when he drove us all out to that beach where you can drive a car out and just hang out. Jill introduced me to the whole family that day, Lindsay and Jack were quite little and I fell in love with all of you that day. Mark and I are holding you all in our hearts and share a deep love with you. Sue

I knew john most of my life. There are too many stories to tell about our adventures. I also know his brothers and knew his mother as well. We had many many fun times and I am sorry they are over.. I am grateful to have had him for a friend and sorry it was not enough. I will always remember you john with happy thoughts of our time together. Love to all his family and friends

John was a good friend to me and my sister's. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. We had fun on Sundin Road playing 500 and football. I was always happy to be included even though I was small and young. Once again my thoughts are with all who loved him.

Growing up on Sundin Road everyone knew and loved Johnny. Our neighborhood was a fun place to be and the Dignan's were a huge part of the camaraderie. I am sending my sincere sympathies to all Johnny's family and friends.

To the entire Dignan Family, my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I grew up on House Rock Road, and there are so many wonderful memories of Andy, Matt, Tommy and Johnny. Even though they were all older than me, what comes to mind is summer nights playing jump rope in the street with the neighborhood kids, and Johnny would come running out to join in on the fun. His laughter was truly infectious, as was his smile. One summer I was employed by Janet Dignan to clean their home, and what I looked forward to the most was staring at the family photo that hung on the wall in their living room. Rest in peace, Johnny.

John was a terrific and caring friend and I am grateful I have many memories of good times spent together. Fun trips to Italy, Nantucket, and the Caribbean; his famous laugh was heard around the world. We nicknamed him, McGuyver, because he could fix anything and make anything.
