Condolences to the Family of Barbara A. Bailey

2022

My deepest sympathy to that of her family, friends, and colleagues as well as to all those who’s lives she had touched. Barbara was a wonderful person. I remember her so very well in my mind, and will never live to forget any of the wonderful experiences I had while working with both her, and later in time with her daughter at the Telephone Company for many years. She was there when I first opened the door and crossed that white marble threshold. She was one of the first people I had met in the phone company, and was very good to work with all across time. Best Wishes ~ Please accept my heartfelt condolences words cannot begin to express the sadness that I and so many others are feeling right now, God rest her soul.

I feel like I’ve known Barbara my whole life . First as Mrs Bailey , dear friend of my mothers (Kay OBrien) and mother of Tommy , Tim and Mary . Then for last 20 years as a dear friend and neighbor on Lenoxdale Ave . She was the first person to welcome my wife Patty and I to the street . She kept a good eye on the children on Lenoxdale. She enjoyed watching the epic street hockey games and never complained when they played her yard . She was loved and will be missed .

Our sincere condolences. Your mother was the personification of "spunky and beautiful." She was a McDonough, beautiful, good, and brilliant. Whenever our paths crossed she was smiling and on her way somewhere. Her pride in her family was always evident. Her grace in her final years, and yes, her "spunk" were evident. We are so sorry for your loss. She was a fighter (like her brothers.) She is now an angel!
