John was very knowledgeable about different subjects on everything about about the world, the war, the economy. Mike and John would sit out in John’s back-yard and John would smoke his cigar and talk about interesting things. Myself (Phyllis) he was always so nice and friendly and he would go out of his way to say hi to me and talk to me. We love His wife Kathy and always a pleasure to talk with her. They were like family. Jay and Marie and Julie Ann and Kevin were always so nice to us. John will be truly missed. RIP
