I was just made aware that your mother had passed away. I am so sorry to hear this and even more sorry I was unaware. Your mother was an instrumental force in my life while I was a student at Atlantic Jr High in the early 1970’s. Not only was she my home room teacher for 7th grade but was my home economics teacher for both years at AJHS. It was because of my admiration of your mom that I went on to become a Home Economics teacher. Although there weren’t jobs teaching in that field when I graduated I finally secured a position within QPS as a home economics teacher many years later. It was then your mom became my colleague. I remember our first department meeting when I walked in and she called me by my maiden name and followed up with such beautiful compliments about me as a student. My response, it’s because of you that I am here, thank you. I’m so glad I had a few more years to reconnect with your mom. Mrs. Goshe will always be remembered fondly and will have a place in my heart forever. Thank you for sharing her with so many others. She was truly amazing.

It's hard to believe you are not with us. You had such a great Spirit and you were larger than Life. The amount of time together didn't really matter. Your presence defies limitations. I love you and miss you, My Dear Friend

Your thoughtful generosity toward others was an admirable quality you perfected. Your concern for others shone brightly for your students, peers, friends and family. Your example should be a model for us all. Peace is now yours. Mary
