Dear Donna and extended family ~ we were so blessed to have known, to have loved and to have been loved by Helen. She and my mother were such good friends and shared patient cases, the arts and ice cream sundaes together over the years! And Helen and Donna visited us in Charleston twice in the last six years...what a gift for our mothers! Dear Helen, I lit a candle for you Saturday at my father-in-law's funeral Mass, not yet aware of your passing. But I prayed for peace and comfort for you as you passed--and it seems that indeed you had those, surrounded by the love and warmth of your beautiful family. We loved you too, Helen. Rest in peace, dear lady.

My sincere condolences for this significant loss of a highly respected senior family member. I can vouch for Helen's generosity, thoughtfulness, kindness and altruistic giving. Her role as sister & (in-law), mother, Grandmother, Aunt, (and other roles), will be remembered with gratitude by each of us, within our hearts, for our remaining years. Her spirit has contributed to my enrichment, which will live with me, always.
