Joanne was such a wonderful friend and colleague, lending support and good humor to students, colleagues, and faculty. It was a delight to watch her BU children progress through their undergrad days and become alums, professionals, and eventually parents. Joanne was such a proud and caring grandmother, from her full time care of Christopher and Cameron when they needed her to the pride she took this year in her newest grandson. I will miss her smile and sage advice. My sympathy to both generations of the Day family.
