Condolences to the Family of Warren T. Quinlan

2022

Throughout the years and I mean many years, I've thought about Warren Q. He was an amazing and compassionate young man when attending St. Francis de Sales school. I remember his sensitivity and kindness to all. Rest in Peace.

I am truly sorry to just now hear of the passing of Warren. He was a great man and had helped me tremendously when I needed it most. I remember when he heard my story after meeting me at New England Shelter and invited me to go with him to a Senate Sub-committee Hearing with him in DC that he was asked to speak at...on the plight of Vietnam Veterans with Bad Paper Discharges. I remember a letter he wrote to be read during the hearing on "Americas Two Sons/ One went to War...and One ran to Canada". I was greatly moved by his dedication and passion to help us. I will never forget him and what he did for me that day. He took me to The Wall...for the very first time where I confronted my demons and there's a picture of that day hanging on my wall of he and I that I would like to share with you. If possible I would love to get a copy of that Letter To Congress he wrote back then. My sincere condolences for your loss. He was a Hero in my books.

...What can be said about Warren Quinlan? --"The Man, The Myth, The Legend!!" There are NOT enough pages or words to describe him. As far back as 1972 when I first met my late husband; "Smitty" , up until not so long ago. He was always there for us. We NEVER had to ask twice. Our daughters; Kelly & Erin will tell you the same. He was like an Uncle to them as well as our grandkids; Tristan , Jack & Hannah. He was so giving to everyone that he met. He was at every family function and parties. Even after "Smitty" passed away, Warren helped me move out of my place in Braintree and into a new place in Cobbs Corner to be near my Grandkids. I could go on and on. This is just a very small part of our life over the years with Warren. We LOVE & MISS you!!!! You WILL live on in our hearts FOREVER!!!!!!!! XOXOXO. Jane, Kelly & Erin

Rest in peace brother. I will always remember you as my All Star outfielder short stop at all our family Soft ball games. Now enjoy a good card game with Dad, Mom, Richard, Marylou, Patricia and Michael. I know how much you missed your beautiful baby girl Emily so now you can give her a big hug. I know you are surrounded by so many love ones and in no more pain brother,So my wish for you now is that God will shine His light on you as you head home for the last time. I love and miss you.
