My condolences to the Tompkins Family. I have such fond memories of Mike taking the time to teach me how to wire the house at 28 East St. He helped fuel my passion for working with my hands, and gave me the foundation of electrical knowledge that I still rely on today. May God bless and strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

Leo and I have no words. Our hearts are broken and our tears are flowing for Ann, all the kids, grandkids, family and friends Mike left behind. Time and space have separated us from you Mike, but our Love is everlasting. NOTHING will take away our memories of laughter, love and joy of spending time together. You were Leo's best friend since forever, and mine since Pembroke, 1962. Our hearts go out to you Ann, and wish you comfort and peace knowing he is not suffering or in any kind of pain now. We send our love and prayers to you all, be at peace. Love you Mike.

I remember the first time I melted the end of a screwdriver on a live 200 amp electrical panel. Mike got a good laugh after he picked me up. I learned so much from my uncle Mike through my high school and college years working for him at Tompkins electrical. I still have the blue electrical plyers he gave me. I have used my electrical skills many times over the years and every time I use those plyers I can hear Mike giving me instructions. Mike was like a dad to me those early years, I learned so many valuable life lessons from him that helped me move on after college to my own success... I learned how important it was to be polite, to be on time, to laugh and enjoy your work. Mike was to me just an amazing person, I will miss him and I will think of him often.. and I will keep using the blue plyers. My wife Judy and I would like to express our sincere condolences to Ann and the family. With love, Mike and Judy Morin
