I was born and raised in Dorchester and as a youth recall holding signs with my father, a truent officer in Boston, for Gerry when he ran for State Rep. I was 7 years old the first time. I have fond memories of helping Gerry who was such a wonderful man. Later in life through Gerry's strong recommendation I was admitted to his alma mater NE School of Law. I have been and will be eternally grateful for Gerry's kind assistance. He's always had a warm place in my heart. I'm sure my dad has pulled him aside to talk Boston politics. God Rest Gerry's soul.
