Condolences to the Family of Theresa J. DiLorenzo

2018

We were sitting on the curb, with our 18 month old baby between us, looking up the long driveway as our new home was being built. A middle aged couple approached us and the man said, "What are you kids doing sitting on the sidewalk? Come with us." As we followed them into their home, I recognized the face of a student of mine. The woman responded, "That is our daughter, Darlene." This was the beginning of a long friendship with the wonderful DiLorenzo family. Over the years, we visited, laughed, supported one another, watched the children and grandchildren grow, and suffered family losses. Theresa was not only my friend but my daughter's, also. Theresa and Lisa walked together up and down the nearby streets of Weymouth for exercise, chatting as they walked. We shared much of our lives over the years and I am deeply saddened by her passing for although I didn't see Theresa as much as I did at earlier times, I always knew she was just down the street. She was a very good friend.

What a sweet woman Theresa was. She brought much joy to her family. Tony and I are so sorry for your loss.
