Condolences to the Family of Bernard L. “Bernie” Joubert

2017

Dear Diane and Claire, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I fondly remember all my impromptu conversations with your parents in local stores, getting updates on everyone over the years. Its very hard to lose your last parent and this holiday season will be tough for all of you. I will be having a Mass for my parents in January and being at Resurrection will remind me of all the wonderful families and friends we had from Hingham. In love and sympathy, Jean

My prayers and condolences to Diane, Claire and all family members. Bernie was a wonderful man who God Blessed me to know and enjoy 20 yrs as my employer. He was kind, thoughtful and always funny. We were all better for Having him in our lives and he will be missed.❤️

Dear Claire, Diane, Danielle and Rebecca, Bernard was like a 2nd father to me as a college student and rebellious young lady, who thought she knew it all and needed no more adult direction. BUT he was so subtle and drolly funny, that, when I stopped to listen, realized a lot of wisdom to be heard. From Kentucky now, am raising a glass of bourbon to Bernard, imagining it is 5:00 quitting time with Julie and us girls. Thanks for hosting all those trips to Hummarock, great dinners at Jimmy's even including my visiting family. So long second Dad...will miss you until we meet again. Love, Sandi Goodman Schofer
