Jerry was my roomate for 2 years, 1962-64, on Tremont St, Boston. He was a kind and gregarious, fun loving person, but also very intelligent and dedicated to his teaching profession. Don McAdams and Jerry were a dynamic duo, to say the least.I met my wife, at a party, in that same apartment. I often think of Jerry, because he was one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
