Though we never met Arden in person, we feel like we knew her, as she was born around the same time as our daughter Kia. Her Uncle Dave always told us stories about her, as we watched the two girls grow into beautiful, intelligent young adults. And we saw pictures of her on his refrigerator, every year's Christmas card, along with homemade cards to Uncle Dave. Our hearts are crying for you, as we can not imagine losing our daughter at such a young age. Heaven has a new shining star and her spirit will always be with her. Words are hollow to describe our sorrow for your loss of Arden, one of Janie's dearest and most loyal friends. While her time with us was way too short, memories of her compassion, love of adventure and the outdoors, leadership on and off the athletic fields will last forever for everyone who knew her.
