It is with deep sadness we received the news of Irv's death.  I worked with Irv at the HQ of Ahold USA/Stop & Shop.  My fondest memories will be of our hour long lunches with fellow colleagues talking about sports, life, our children (especially his son Tony), motorcycles, philosophy, global events, politics & retirement.  Irv's humor, wit and intelligence were always razor sharp and we all awaited how the discussion would dramatically turn with his input.  I will deeply miss my friend.  Rest in Peace, Irv.  Your family & friends remain in our thoughts and prayers.  Deepest sympathies, Bob Frappier, Pawleys Island, SC
