Condolences to the Family of Linford A. “Lin” Snyder Jr.

2016

Nancy and family, You are in my thoughts and prayers as we say, "Goodbye" to Lin, a remarkable man and friend. Bob and I were blessed to have known Lin and you at the Union Church, Balmville. He was an inspiration for many people with his positive attitude and Christian faith. Many fond memories of being with you both as you sang in the choir every Sunday and supported Union Church.

Dear Mrs Snyder and family, This is just a note of prayer to you at this sad time. I had the privilege to meet Lyn in 1978 at St Luke's Hospital when I was a brand new graduate nurse. I soon learned that this man was a wealth of knowledge, and cared so much about patients and doing things the right way!!! I saw him work so hard, and back then it was just he and Ed Sausville taking care of the whole hospital!! Folks nowadays would never keep up with him. I was sad when he left, but would see him from time to time in Price Chopper. I stayed at St Luke's for 27 years, and times in healthcare have changed. I will always remember Lyn and his kindness, fun and laughter. It was an honor to learn from him and know him.God Bless you always.

The Fendt family is so sad to learn of Lin Snyder's death. We have kept in touch through Christmas cards yearly since Nancy and Lin left Newburgh. You will be forever in our hearts, and in the family in our prayers. God bless. With love.

Dear Nancy and Family: I wish to express my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved Lin. He was a great mentor to me in my early career and we served together in various capacities in the local and state pharmacy associations. I will always remember his love for life and his infectious laugh. I know that he now resides in heaven with our glorious king.
