Condolences to the Family of Ann L. Charlton

2015

My condolences on the passing of your mother. Ann put up a valiant fight. Ann, Natalie and my Dad, Bud Thomas, were such great friends and enjoyed their adventures. My mother, Louise and your mother were best buddies in the early days at Stoneledge and shared walks, laughs, etc. Your mother was so kind to both of my parents when they were ill. Ann will be missed at Stoneledge.

I spent quite a bit of time with Ann during the last couple of years as one of her health aides, and she wasn't well many of those times. Despite her illnesses, we had a really fun time during my last visit with her last Sunday watching the Patriots game - a first for both of us this year. She must have had her "rally" that day - she was full of excitment over Tom Brady's plays, and, of course, the final big kick that won the game. I feel lucky to have known Ann and am very glad that I can remember her as being happy, and enjoying that game so much. She was very nice to me, and I will miss her. She said to me recently, "Ellen, I'm dying, but nobody will believe me." Well, Ann, everyone believes you now - rest in peace, my friend.
