Condolences to the Family of Ann Sullivan Torsney Greene

2014

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I met Ann when I was 25yrs old (I'm 52 now) - I spoke with her everyday for years (might have been responsible for some of her white hairs) - we shared many days together until I moved to NH. She was a friend, sister, mother, teacher, and role model, and I loved her sense of humor! We shared the same birthday, Jan 2nd. Ann was crazy about her family and never, ever, said a negative thing about them - that blew me away, she had nothing but love for everyone who touched her life and was the most grateful person I ever met. I loved Joe, too, and when he passed away she gave my husband some of his flannel shirts because she knew Brian liked them. Whenever he wore them I called him "Joe" - I told her that, she laughed. My favorite thing about Ann was that she was always in the mood for a dance, more specifically, a waltz. My sons were 2 and 3yrs when I moved to NH and she stole their hearts, too, we called her Nanny Ann :) She was so patient with them as they wrecked her charming, cozy home - and played the piano loudly. Ann will be forever in our hearts and we'll never say goodbye, but rather, I'll see you when I see you. xoxoxo God Bless You All In the cool, cool, cool of the evening Tell 'em I'll be there In the cool, cool, cool of the evening Better save a chair
