“I enjoy being helpful to the families we serve by keeping the environment clean and friendly. I make sure they are taken care of by making the facilities presentable and comforting. It’s a great group of people at Keohane – everybody is nice to work with.”
Peter Moreschi is in charge of the facilities at the Quincy and Hingham locations. His responsibilities include overseeing any contract work on the grounds, keeping the grounds clean, tending to the flowers, cutting the lawns, and keeping the facilities presentable for the families coming to Keohane. He also picks up death certificates, delivers flowers to the cemetery, and assists the funeral directors.
Peter retired from Verizon after thirty years before starting full-time at Keohane in 2017. He enjoys working at a family firm after many years in a corporate environment. He’s also a part-time security supervisor at the TD Garden for the past dozen years.
Peter is a native of Quincy and currently lives in the Squantum section of Quincy with his wife, Kathy. His three boys are grown with the youngest still in college. Peter grew up on the same block as the Keohane family and has known the family his entire life.
In his free time, Peter volunteers for Toys for Tots. He belongs to the V.F.W. Nickerson Post in Quincy and Dennis Pines Golf Course on the Cape. If he’s not working, he can be found on the beach or the golf course. He also enjoys going to sports games for his sons. His youngest plays lacrosse at Salem State University.
