Valerie A. (Crifo) Colbert of Quincy, entered into eternal peace on August 24, 2016. Loving and devoted mother of  Alison Colbert of Quincy. Cherished daughter of Dorothy Crifo of Quincy and the late Joseph Crifo, Sr.,  Granddaughter of of the late James Boc and Viola(Lada) Boc – Valerie was the ” Apple of their eye”  Sister of Donna Mauney of NC and the late Joseph Crifo, Jr. Valerie is the devoted aunt of Susan Dias, Eric Loughman, Matthew & Daniel Hooker and Michael & Rachel Crifo.  She is also survived by her companion and fiance of 17 years Cary Crehan and his children Jessica and Joseph Crehan.  Wife of the late Kevin Colbert. Sister in Law of Christy Colbert and his wife Marie, Susan Crifo and Marion Loughman and her husband Butch. Valerie is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Valerie grew up in Quincy and graduated from North Quincy High School. She went on to receive an accounting degree from Northeastern University. Her working career included 30 years at Broadway Electric. Valerie enjoyed Broadway musicals and the theater. She was an avid New England Patriots fan as well as the Boston Red Sox. She loved to travel and garden. A friend of Bill W. Valerie had a special place in her heart for the Rolling Stones, she was their #1 fan. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
