Timothy Patrick McGowan of Carver, died April 20, 2024 after a period of failing health. He was 36.

Tim grew up in Hingham and worked at the Sub Galley throughout high school and college. After attending Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, Tim pursued a career in the culinary arts. He worked as the executive chef for Johnson and Johnson in Raynham. Tim was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed fishing and family trips to Bridgton, Maine and Cape Cod, where many memories were made. He will be remembered for his generosity and sense of humor. He always put others ahead of himself. As his last act of generosity, Tim improved the lives of other by becoming an organ donor.

He was the cherished son of Mary “Sis” and Tom McGowan of Bridgewater. Loving brother of Greg McGowan and his partner Heather; Kevin McGowan and his wife Rachel, all of Weymouth; and Caitlin Carey of Braintree. Proud uncle of Brynn, Sean, Maddie , Jack McGowan  and Harper Ringius. Beloved partner of Jen Poirier and her daughter Val. Also survived by his loyal canine companion, Comet.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 4/27/24 from 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
