Rosemary P. Bambrick

Bambrick, Rosemary P. (Manning), recent resident of North Reading and long time resident of Somerville, passed away August 14, 2017 after a long illness. She was the Beloved wife of the late Henry J Bambrick and daughter of the late Peter F. Manning of Galway, Ireland and Mary McCafferty Manning of Boston. She was born and raised in Mission Hill, Roxbury and attended Brighton High School. She was also a longtime employee of the New England Deaconess Hospital  (now the Beth Israel Deaconess). Rosemary was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family, friends and playing practical jokes. She was an avid history buff and loved researching and tracing her family history in Ireland. She lived to see her lifelong dream of going to Ireland with her cousins and visiting her father’s family home. She loved music of all kinds and was a beautiful singer she loved participating in her parishes Minstrel shows. She graced her daughter’s weddings with her beautiful rendition of Oh Danny Boy.

 

Loving mother of Theresa Taverna and her husband Anthony of Braintree, Barbara Bambrick of Seattle WA, Dianne Bambrick of Holbrook, Hank Bambrick of Lowell, Stacey Johnston and her husband Edward of Quincy. Devoted Nanny to 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her beloved daughter Donna and her son’s David, Scott and Gerard Bambrick. Also predeceased by her beloved brothers Peter, George and William Manning.

 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
