Brangiforte, Robert P. of Braintree, passed away February 12, 2017.

Robert was born November 2, 1945 to the late Salvatore Brangiforte and Theresa (Alessio) Brangiforte. Robert attended Braintree Schools and was a dedicated employee of the Town of Braintree for 29 years before retiring as Superintendent of the Braintree Highway Department. Robert was a proud U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam era.

Beloved Husband of Patricia (Houlihan) Brangiforte. Loving father of Theresa Colantoni and her husband Stephen of Whitman and Amy Brangiforte of Braintree. Grandfather “Papa” to Krystal Gothage, Angela Lauzon and Hailey Erickson. Great Grandfather to Adelyn and Kyrielle. Brother of Judith Ehrstein of Hull, Richard Brangiforte of Weymouth, Maureen McGloin of Braintree and Karen Swift of Ellenton, FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
