Manning, Robert E. of Quincy, formerly of Milton, died July 18, 2018.

Robert was devoted to his loving family, especially his children and grandchildren.  In his early days he enjoyed coaching little league baseball and was one of the original founders of the Milton Boosters Club.  He was an avid reader, a Milton High School graduate, class of 1951 and a Boston College graduate, class of 1955.  Robert worked for many years as a Senior Executive with Jordan Marsh in Boston.

Beloved husband of Maralin (Mandros) Manning of Quincy.  Loving father of Patrice Flavin and her husband Paul of Green Harbor, Moira Shigo and her husband Alexis of CT, Robert E. Manning, II and his wife Paige of VT, Gregory Manning and his wife Linda of Andover, Theodore Manning and his wife Cindy of VT, and Michael Manning and his wife Susan of Hingham.  Cherished “Papa” to Jim, Taylor Fradette, Casey & Kevin Flavin; Nicholas & Susanna Shigo; Ryan, Connor, Shay, Keegan, Britt & Fionn Manning; Jillian & Morgan Manning; and Michael, Jr., Catherine & John Manning.  Also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
