Mrs. Rita M. (Durant) Cameron of Weymouth, passed away on March 12, 2024, two days after her 99th birthday.

Born in Weymouth, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Landry) Durant, Rita worked for many years for Grossman Company as an accounting clerk. She always enjoyed casinos, road trips, loved to travel and was a hard worker. Rita will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of the late John D. Cameron.

Loving sister of the late Gerald, Lillian, Joseph, Bernard, Eugene, James, and Francis Durant.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Tuesday, from March 19th, from 10 -10:30 AM  in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. 

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
