Richard L. “Dick” Lamb of Weymouth, died August 1, 2017 at the age of 73.

Dick worked for the Department of Defense for 34 years, retiring in 1996. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Dick loved spending winters in Marco Island, FL with family and his many friends. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.

Beloved husband of Lorraine J. (McGrale) Lamb. Son of the late Evelyn and Lester Lamb. Loving brother of David C. Lamb and wife Eduarda of Weymouth. Brother in law of John and Sheila McGrale of Kingston; Diane Foley of South Boston; Paula McGrale of Weymouth; and the late Rosemary Arnold. Uncle to 11 nieces and nephews, including the late Ryan McGrale; and 18 great nieces and nephews. Also survived by many loving friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
