Paul R.  O’Connor, a longtime Quincy resident, died April 4, 2018, surrounded by his family. The beloved husband of the late Janice A. (Hurley) O’Connor. Loving father of  Janice Ferrera and her husband Douglas of Milton, Paul R. O’Connor, Jr. and his wife Kerri of Holbrook, Michael  O’Connor and his wife Laura of Weymouth, Michelle O’Connor of Pembroke and the late Christine O’Connor. Brother of  James O’Connor and  Walter O’Connor both of Stoughton, Ruth Ravesi of Canton, Joseph O’Connor and Geraldine Gingras both of CO and the late John F. O’Connor, Jr. Joan MacDonald, June Dawson and Jean Currie. Cherished Papa of Meghan and Christina Ferrera, Caitlin, Isabelle, Kyle and Emileigh O’Connor.

Paul worked for the MBTA as an operator and retired after 25 years of service.  An Avid sports fan, he enjoyed baseball and  the New England Patriots. The cornerstone of his life was his family especially his grandchildren. Paul will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
