Mr. Paul F. Onorato, of Weymouth, died April 25, 2019.

Paul lived in the North End of Boston and attended Saint John’s School. He was 11 years old when he arrived in the United States and at the age of 17 became a hairdresser. He then moved to Somerville and he worked at various salons until he established his first salon in Quincy Square. He then moved his salon to Weymouth on Rte 18 in 1972. He was a loved and respected member of the community and was a board member of the Sons of Italy in Quincy and was also a member of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks.

Beloved husband of the late Lonnie (Berry).

Loving father of Melissa F. Babineau of Weymouth and the late Paula Onorato. Brother of Peter Onorato of Somerville, Vincenza Scavello-Onorato of Houston, TX, and Geraldine Onorato-Firicano of Somerville. Grandfather of Paulie, Mariah, Jonathan, Rocco, and Talia. Also survived by many nieces, newphews, great nieces and nephews. Brother in law of Mark, Gail, Debbie, Jody, and Kathy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
