Michael J. Walsh of Weymouth, died June 3, 2022 after a brief illness at the age of 59.

Mike worked as a mechanical engineer for 36 years for Vanderweil Engineers in Boston. He was a member of the Alliance Drum and Bugle Corp. Most of all, Mike loved spending time with his family.

He was the beloved husband of 36 years to Diane E. (Sullivan) Walsh. Loving father of Brian Walsh of Boston, Megan Walsh of Weymouth, and Sara Walsh of Weymouth. Son of the late Mary and William Walsh. Brother of John and Melinda Walsh of Sandwich, Paul Walsh and Pauline Murphy of Weymouth, William and Rachel Walsh of Falmouth, Mary and Steven Moden of Burlington, and Theresa Walsh of Melrose. Son in law of James and Jane Sullivan. Brother in law of  Linda and Kevin Roach; Karen Moran; and Paula and Gary Carmichael. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). There will be a private burial ceremony on Wednesday.
