Keohane Funeral Home

Michael Joseph “Mac” McCusker of Quincy, died April 4, 2014. 

Mike loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family.  His passions consisted of fishing and music.  He played bass guitar, something he has loved since he was a teenager, and his band Deep Water Blues performed through out the South Shore .  Mac also taught gun safety through his company, “Mass Pistol”, helping many obtain a gun permit at the Braintree Gun Club.  An ironworker with Local #7 by trade, Mac also worked for many years at the Quincy Shipyard as a welder. 

Beloved husband of Barbara (Ciardi) McCusker of Quincy.  Loving father of Sean McCusker of Quincy, and Sherri Rustin and her husband Rich of Weymouth.  Son of Donald McCusker and Sally (Dolan) of Quincy.  Brother of Jim McCusker and his wife Jacqui of CA, Brian McCusker and his wife Michelle of Braintree, Tom McCusker and his wife Eileen of Sandwich, and Matt McCusker and his wife Carol of Hanover.  Cherished grandfather of Sallie and Tyler Rustin.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
