Keohane Funeral Home

King, Maryellen of Braintree, passed away peacefully at Season Hospice, Milton on May 11, 2019. She was 74.

Maryellen fought a courageous battle with health issues over the past few years. She grew up in Revere before moving to Braintree in 1954. Maryellen worked for the New England Telephone Company for 20 years. She also worked for Kotin, Crabtree, and Strong Law offices of Boston for the past several years. She was an avid Patriots and Bruins fan and enjoyed reading, gardening, wildlife, going to Cape Cod and enjoyed her lunch dates with her friends. Maryellen’s greatest joy was spending time with her only grandson, Liam cheering him on at his football games, just taking a ride for an ice cream, or just being with him put a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Loving mother of Kevin M. Bartlett of Franklin, NH. Proud grammy to Liam Bartlett, and mother in law to Kathleen Bartlett both of Milton. Sister of Dennis King of Houlton, ME and George King of New York.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 6 -7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.
