Maryann F. (DiLoreto) Elisii

Maryann F. (DiLoreto) Elisii, of Quincy and formerly of Hull, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on November 10, 2018. She was 77.

Born in Everett, raised in the North Shore and spent her youth in Hull, MA, she was the daughter of the late Settimio and Frances (Cerasola) DiLoreto .

Maryann came from a large Italian family with several cousins her same age and enjoyed many happy parties & holidays with them and created the same in her own household. Great Italian cook and housewife to her husband of many years and caring Mom to her two girls.  She took immaculate care of her house and herself always exercising  dancing or jogging around the house. She dressed fashionably, enjoyed her beautiful jewelry, impeccable make-up and always with sparkle.

She loved listening to music and her favorite radio station was the Top 40, Kiss 108 always on in the background-especially the Matty In The Morning Show. She enjoyed walks along the water and spent a lot of time tanning & bathing at Nantasket Beach

After her family was grown she worked in the cosmetic sales industry for Jordan Marsh, Filene’s and retired from Macys after 30 years of service. She worked very hard for those companies earning highest sales rewards and her family benefited from her discounted shopping

She became a woman of great faith and prayed the Rosary daily for all her friends and family. She was devoted to our Lady and trusted in the Lord. Maryann raised her children with strong morals which continue through her grandchildren. After managing Diabetes for over 50 years, she became disabled before her time but used her strong Catholic faith to persevere until the end.

Maryann was the devoted mother of Marguerite Elisii-Johnson, spouse of Mark Johnson of Hull and Marietta Troup spouse of Brooks of Middletown, Maryland. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph Elisii-Johnson of Hull, Corbin Troup, spouse of Jasmine of Pennsylvania, Ayla and Vincent A. Troup, both of Maryland. Maryann has a younger brother Philip “Skippy” Watson of East Boston and is the former wife of Joseph V. Elisii of Hull and Jack Kane of Florida.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, November 19th, from 4 through 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 20th at 11AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham.

Services will conclude with interment in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
