Jansen, Mary T. (Donovan) of Quincy, died June 18, 2018.
Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Robert J. Jansen. Loving mother of Robert J. Jansen, Jr. of Quincy. Cherished daughter of the late John and Loretta Donovan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Mary worked as an operator for the New England Telephone company before having her son and becoming a dedicated homemaker. She was an avid Boston Sports fan, especially for the Red Sox. Mary was a member of the Tender Tappers in Quincy for many years. She will be remembered for her great sense of fashion and her gentle and kind soul. Mary will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
