Mary B. (Lynch) Blaney of Somerville, originally from Galway, Ireland, formerly of Quincy,  died October 19, 2018.  The beloved wife of the late Robert W. Blaney. Cherished mother of Rev. Robert M. Blaney of Milton, and Joseph H. Blaney and his wife Jeanne (Gawlinski) of Rockland. Devoted grandmother of Stephanie and Sydney Blaney. Sister of  Catherina “Kitty” MacAleese of  Weymouth, Eileen Sullivan of Brockton, Anne Lavey of Hingham, Margaret Carolan  and Thomas Lynch both  of Galway, Ireland and the late Patrick “Patsy” Lynch of Coventry, England. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St.Elizabeth’s Church,  350 Reedsdale Road, Milton  at 11 AM.

Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Mary may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143 .
