Marjorie A. Crowley

CROWLEY, Marjorie A., 86, of Quincy, and formerly of Milton died Wednesday July 4, 2018.  

Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Henry P. and Elizabeth A. (Walsh) Crowley, and step-daughter of the late Virginia M. Barry.  Sister of Howard F. Crowley of Quincy, Patricia A. Calberg of Pembroke, and the late Miriam E. Burbank and Paul H. Crowley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was raised in North Quincy, and was a 1949 graduate of North Quincy High School, and then went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University.  Miss Crowley worked for John Hancock for 44 years, first as a Secretary and later as a Service Representative in the Defined Benefits Department.  She was a devoted Catholic, and spent all of her years in Milton as an active member of St. Agatha’s Parish.  

Marjorie truly enjoyed helping others as evidenced by her tenure at John Hancock, as a Milton Town Meeting Member, as a SHINE advisor, and especially by her love and support shown to her family.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 3-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
