C. Frances Lynn

Lynn, C. Frances (Conway), aged 90 years, died on April 14, 2015 in Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center after an illness.

“Fran” was born in Dorchester, the only child of Charles Patrick Conway, a native of Loughrae Galway Ireland and Sarah Frances (Lally) Conway, a native of Partry County Mayo Ireland. Frances was a 1942 graduate of North Quincy High School. She was employed by both Bell Telephone Company as a switchboard operator and Matthewson Machine Works in North Quincy. Frances lived in Weymouth for the past 57 years. She was a communicant at Immaculate Conception Parish in East Weymouth. She was an avid daily reader of the Boston Globe, Patriot Ledger and The Pilot. She also loved doing crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and playing singles and doubles in tennis tournaments. Fran was a Boston Red Sox fan. She was involved in the Girl Scouts and Weymouth Youth Hockey. 

She was the wife of the late Alfred Francis Lynn, whom she was married to for 56 years (since September 1951). She is survived by three children; daughter Mary F.T. Colligan, of Jefferson, Maine, son in law John J. Colligan, daughter Margaret F. Colligan of East Bridgewater, son in law Martin Colligan, son Charles F. Lynn of Weymouth and daughter in law Suzanne Lynn. Grandmother of James M. Colligan of Carver, Meaghan R. Colligan of East Bridgewater and Kristopher C.P. Lynn of South Boston. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11 AM.

Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne on Tuesday at 10:30 AM.
