Lucy M. (Kushmerek) Rice of Braintree, passed away peacefully, October 24, 2016. 

Beloved wife of Joseph A. Rice of Braintree.  Loving mother of Joseph A. Rice, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Rockland and Robert G. Rice and his wife Nancy of Rockland. Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Patrick and Christopher Rice and Daniel and Timothy O’Sullivan.  Dear sister of Helen Kushmerek of Malden, Edward Kushmerek of NH and the late Walter, Leo and Valentine Kushmerek and Arlene McCarriston. Lucy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Thomas More Church, Braintree at 11AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
