Ladny, Kathleen R. (Cipullo) Kay of Hingham, passed away February 16, 2017.

Kay was born in Dorchester, later residing in Weymouth. Kay retired from Carney Hospital in 1984, working for many years as a bookkeeper. Kay was the past president of The St. Brendans Church Guild and was also a longtime volunteer at Carney Hospital and South Shore Hospital. Kay was also the former president of the Women’s Randolph Elks. The greatest enjoyment in Kay’s life was her family and friends, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick B. Ladny. Loving mother of Carol Parent and her husband Dennis of Westfield and Barbara Gaedtke of Plymouth. Daughter of the late Frank and Laura Cipullo. Sister of the late Ralph A. Cipullo and Anthony F. Cipullo. Cherished grandmother of Apryl Hasselberger and her husband Paul and Brian Parent and his wife Janine. Treasured great grandmother of Owen, Avery, Angelina, Madden and Parker. Also survived by many cousins and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 11 AM Monday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 12 PM. Burial will be private.
