Jean M. Desrosiers

Desrosiers, Jean M. (David) of Braintree, died on August 7, 2018, her 80th birthday.

The beloved wife of the late Edgar Miller. Cherished mother of Jane M. Desrosiers of East Weymouth. Loving sister of Edwin F. Miller, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Weymouth, Stephen M. Miller of Holbrook and the late William David and Carol Piccoli. Devoted Grandmother of Jonathan J. Coyle of Gloucester. Aunt of Brian Miller of Quincy, Scott Miller of Pembroke, Carol Piccoli and Richard Piccoli both of Rhode Island and Robin Piccoli of FL. Dear friend of Harry Resell of Quincy. 

Jean worked as the chief histological technician at Quincy City Hospital for 25 years.  She was a founding member of MASH. After Quincy City Hospital, Jean worked for PSI in Cambridge for 20 years.  She enjoyed gardening, decorating, traveling and gourmet cooking. Jean enjoyed entertaining and loved to share her gourmet cooking with her family and friends. She had a very special place in her heart for dogs.  Jean brought grace and style to the lives she touched, so characteristically of the way she lived her life. The foundation of her life was her family, especially her grandson Jonathan. They were cornerstone of everything that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed by all those who were fortunate to have known her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be made to New England Wild Life Center, 500 Columbian Street, So. Weymouth, MA  02190.

Following the funeral mass, Jean will be buried at Braintree Cemetery at Plain Street in Braintree, MA 02184 at 11:30AM.
