Polito, James P. of Dorchester, passed away April 23, 2017. 

James was born in Boston. He worked at Carney Hospital as an escort. He was a huge Red Sox fan. He loved to go on long walks and hikes. James also spent some of his spare time visiting museums and zoos throughout the Boston area. He enjoyed traveling and going to the movies. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Son to the late Joseph and Margaret Polito.  Dear brother to Joanne Reilly and her husband Peter of Hanover and Robert J. Polito and his wife Kristine Harris of NY. Survived by 2 nieces, Meaghan and Katelyn and close friends Angelo Fazio and Mary Prance.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Follow visitation there will be a Funeral Mass held at St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
